Re: Happy Thread
Eee, I like it!
.. Though, I'm a little more partial to mine if only because it used the HeartGold and SoulSilver Espeon sprite as a base, which is definitely my favourite Espeon sprite <3

Re: Happy Thread
Hah, well, whatever works XD
... Since we're on the subject of sprites.. Ta-daaaa~! Oh jeez I'm on a roll with these.
I LOVE how we can get totally off topic here. I hated how we'd practically get yelled at for doing this back on Petopia...

Re: Happy Thread
Very true.
Also, Ciro!
You should do Yanbredos/Espyanados for giggles, too. Though that might be a touch difficult.

Yes, I'm being picky, and yes I'm joking. He's still cute no matter what!

Re: Happy Thread
Aaaand the start bit for RotWM is done. It appeals greatly to my love of Pratchett. All I'm saying. (Well, that, and think along the lines of one Amazing Maurice...Please tell me I'm not the only one to have read that book.)

You just gained +Infinite awesome points, Azu. I love Pratchett. (Thief of Time is still my favorite book ever.)

Pfft, yes I've heard of Pratchett! I haven't read much Pratchett, but I have read some of his book. I still like Going Postal the best out of what I've read.

Re: Happy Thread
You're not Azu, my copy of the Amazing Maurise is, in fact, sitting not too far away from me. I love that book, and felt it was one of the better Discworld spinoff titles. That, and the rat characters were pretty much pure win. <3
Lupis, Pratchett is actually a pretty popular author. Lots of people know his work.
I couldn't get into Thief of Time, for some reason. Admittedly, it's been a while since I attempted to read it, I should pick it up again.
Sourcery takes my pick as my favourite Discworld book, but it's for personal reasons rather than it being a shining example of Pratchett's writing. And I'm in love with the Vimes storyline. Vimes being completely awesome.

Oh, I know he's fairly well known - but whenever I bring him up all I get is blank looks. It's a sad thing.
Thief of Time might seem a little slow at first, yeah. It picks up though. (It also has a fair amount of Death in it, and I've always adored Death.)

Re: Happy Thread
OH. GOOD OMENS. That was also a good one. The mention of Death reminded me.
And yay, Moon! I'm glad my reference shall go unmissed, then. I was so proud of it, I was all, "Ha! This is beautiful! This is brilliant! It's...it's...amazing!" and then I realized my ego was escaping from its cage and had to go read some sad things about humanity to lose faith in humanity. That shut the ego up real quick.
In all seriousness though, yes. I really like Pratchett, and all of my friends read and enjoy it too. I like to think we're all fans of books that are a smidge above the crap that's sold these days. Seriously. Some days, I go to the Young Teen section, look at all the paranormal romance, and go off and cry. Then I go to the sci-fi/fantasy section and the world is right again.

That's surprisingly nothing new. For as long as I can remember, that section has always been filled with paranormal romance. *Shrug*
Suddenly, I am feeling the urge to go and track down a copy of Dragons of Autumn Twilight...
